About the Role
Do you want to make a difference? If you are not already a trained security guard, Securitas will fund your training before employment.
As a patrol guard, your primary task is to deliver safety to our customers - mainly at industries, offices, and workshops - by protecting property and buildings against fire, theft, and damage. Usually, you will manage alarm systems and report using a computerized patrol information system. The work is independent and often experienced as free, but with great responsibility.
The position suits those who enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. As a guard at our office in Nässjö, you'll become part of a tight-knit team! Tasks are highly varied, and as a guard, you can work both indoors and outdoors, day or night. Shift lengths vary but are often 12-hour shifts either day or night. Since we are an operation running every day of the year, working every other weekend is common.

Requirements
• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• B driver's license
Merits if you:
• Have worked with similar tasks previously
• Have a civilian or military security guard training
Personally, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized and can handle occasional high work tempo. You are interested in technology and quickly understand instructions. We see that the applicant is an independent person who trusts their own ability, quickly understands problems and solves them creatively. You have a systematic and careful approach with an eye for detail. Great importance will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, approved grades from the first year of high school in Swedish and English are required, and approval from the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Security Companies Act (1974:191) is necessary (that application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security review according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements for approval, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns law-abidingness, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and potential vulnerabilities. Information may be obtained from yourself, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when examining suitability for each position.
Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
