DRAMATEN SEEKS DEVELOPMENT-ORIENTED PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR
About the SectionPayroll Section is part of the Finance and Administration Department, responsible for steering, developing, and following up work in finance, IT, and property areas. The Payroll Section is responsible for managing and administering Dramaten's payroll. The section handles approximately 300 payrolls per month. The section ensures that payroll management is carried out correctly, efficiently, and in accordance with Dramaten's internal guidelines and applicable laws and regulations. The assignment also includes accounting, follow-up, and reporting of payroll-related issues. The Payroll Section consists of two people.
About the RoleAs the system-responsible payroll administrator at Dramaten, you have a key role in developing, quality-assuring, and driving the entire payroll process. You work independently and proactively to identify improvement areas, implement digital solutions, and ensure that our payrolls are handled correctly, efficiently, and in accordance with laws, agreements, and internal guidelines.
You will collaborate closely with HR, finance, and IT, and function as an important support for managers and colleagues in payroll and contract matters.
Example Work Tasks
• Responsible for the entire payroll process – from reporting to payment and follow-up
• Quality assure payroll payments, deductions, additions, pensions, absences, and taxes
• System responsibility for payroll system AGDA PS – updates, user permissions, documentation, and training
• Work with continuous process development and digitalization of payroll administration
• Interpret and apply central and local collective agreements
• Handle reporting to external actors (Tax Agency, Collectum, Fora, etc.)
• Be an advisory support to managers, employees, and HR in payroll and contract matters
• Maintain data in Planning/Time Reporting System (Timewise) and contract system (Oneflow)
• Perform payments to fee recipients
We Are Seeking Someone Who Has
• Post-secondary education in payroll, finance, or HR – or equivalent experience
• Several years of independent payroll work covering the entire payroll process
• Good knowledge of Swedish payroll processes, labor law, and collective agreements
• Experience with system responsibility or advanced system administration (preferably in AGDA PS, but not decisive)
• Very good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience with digital HR and payroll tools
• English language skills for international contacts

You thrive in a role with many contact points, have good collaboration skills, and communicate clearly and pedagogically. You are analytical, have a strong system interest, and want to contribute to developing efficient and sustainable processes.
Meriting Factors: Experience in payroll process and system development, preferably with automation. Experience with extensive collective agreements (e.g., in Swedish Performing Arts). Experience working in the public sector, cultural sector, or performing arts area.
