Are you interested in strengthening students' language, reading, and writing development - with a focus on early interventions?
Sala Municipality is now seeking a development-oriented and experienced teacher who wants to contribute to equitable, research-based teaching in our primary schools - with a special focus on early and preventive measures.
About the Assignment
As part of the School Office's pedagogical development group, you will support schools in developing their teaching and improving the quality of student learning. The group works closely with principals and educators to translate research and proven experience into practical teaching development. The focus is on strengthening schools' ability to analyze, follow up, and improve instruction - especially in language development, early interventions, and mathematics, which are crucial for students' continued learning.
Through mentoring, analysis, and collegial learning, you will contribute to creating increased equity, improved results, and teaching that gives all students the opportunity to progress as far as possible - from the earliest school years.
Primary Work Tasks
You will:
· Be part of the School Office's pedagogical development group and support schools in their teaching development and early intervention work.
· Mentor and collaborate with teachers and school leaders at school and group levels.
· Contribute to developing instruction in language, reading, and writing development based on research and proven experience.
· Develop and spread structures and methods for early detection and support for students needing extra stimulation or support.

o Preschool Class: Sub-goal 4 – Students receive a good foundation for developing linguistic awareness.
o Primary School: Sub-goal 5 – Students can read and use the Swedish language in a rich and nuanced way.
o Adapted Primary School: Sub-goal 5 – Students can read and use the Swedish language in a nuanced way.

We are looking for someone who:
· Is a certified teacher in Swedish and Swedish as a second language,
· Has documented experience in teaching development,
· Preferably has experience with lead teacher assignments or similar development responsibilities,
· Has a special interest in early and preventive interventions and language-developing approaches.
Personal Qualities
You have a natural ability to inspire and engage others. You are relationship-building, attentive, and unpretentious - while being courageous and professional in development work. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
