Your Workplace — A Growing Government Agency The Fortification Agency is a public authority with critical societal functions, experiencing strong growth. One of our main tasks is to develop fortification expertise for total defense. The Technology and Development of Fortification and Properties (TUFF) unit is responsible for developing fortification expertise and protection and facility technologies for total defense. The unit currently consists of four groups: Program, Technical Supply, Product Development, and Facility and Property, with approximately 60 employees in various specialist roles, and continues to grow. We are now seeking someone who wants to join the Technical Supply group, currently consisting of about ten employees, with responsibilities including electrical systems, electrical environments, HVAC, control and monitoring, and fire protection. Job Responsibilities Include: • Leading development projects in the electrical environment area • Supporting project managers in new construction, additions, and renovations of facilities with selection of protective products and protective technical solutions • Providing support to management regarding maintenance of protective products and protective technical solutions in the electrical environment area • Developing guidelines in the electrical environment area • Participating in training within the protection and facility technical area • Participating in various national and international networks Planned travel is included in the position. Qualifications We seek candidates with a Master's degree in electrical engineering, technical physics, or similar, or other education deemed suitable by the employer. You have excellent Swedish language skills (verbal and written) and good English skills, strong administrative abilities, and experience with administrative IT systems. A Class B driver's license is required. Additional training in electrical engineering is merit-worthy. We also view experience in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) positively. Experience in fortification and/or defense sectors is considered an advantage. About the Position This is a permanent position that may begin with a probationary period. As a permanent employee, you will be war-placed. Location is Eskilstuna. Employment requires Swedish citizenship and placement in a security class.
