JOB DESCRIPTION As a developer, your role will be to provide expert and professional support to the social welfare board, management, and to handle cases within the scope of the social administration. Your tasks will also include collaborating with the administration to ensure quality and develop issues within the social welfare board, such as systematic quality work, Lex Sarah investigations, and data protection coordination. You will work closely with the management team within the administration and be involved in self-assessments based on the authority's exercise within Individual and Family Services. You will establish guidelines and routines and implement these in the operations. You will also work on the transition to a new sustainable social service, coordinating and leading the administration's work by: - Planning, leading, implementing, and following up on the changes carried out locally - Internally communicating ongoing work in the municipality, region, and nationally - Acting as a link between the social administration and the elderly administration - Representing the municipality at conferences, workshops, and cross-regional networks - Developing a model for the municipality's first and second line social services and contributing to the creation of a common strategy and action plan for future work QUALIFICATIONS You hold a degree in social work or another qualification deemed equivalent by the employer. Experience working at a strategic and overarching level is an advantage. You should have worked within one or more of the areas included in social services. Experience in project management, preferably at a high level, is also required. It is advantageous if you have experience coordinating social service issues and development work in the field. We prefer candidates who are pedagogical and accustomed to conveying knowledge and supporting implementation efforts. You should be able to work independently, in a structured manner, and with a solution-focused approach to the assignment. You need to have a strong ability to support and guide, as well as to collaborate, motivate, and engage managers and employees in development work. Through strategic and analytical thinking, you can identify needs and areas for development. You work process-oriented and innovatively when leading the transition to a new sustainable social service. In this work, you need to collaborate with several operations within the administration as well as across administrative boundaries. We also see that it is important for you to have an interest in working both strategically and with more operational tasks. You need to possess strong verbal and written communication skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. The position is organizationally placed directly under the operationally responsible manager for Individual and Family Services.
