Personal Assistant Position in Skövde As a personal assistant, you will help create a daily life characterized by independence, participation, and quality of life. About the Position: We are seeking someone who wants a developing and rewarding job as a personal assistant on a fixed schedule, 50%, for a woman in her 70s living with her husband in Skövde. Her home is equipped with aids such as stair lift, walker, electric scooter, and wheelchair, which facilitate mobility and independence. Work tasks include support with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, cooking, laundry, cleaning, and other household-related tasks. To thrive in the role, it is important that you have knowledge and experience in dementia care and understand the disease's impact. It is crucial that you have an open mind, are flexible, and can create a safe and comfortable environment for both the client and yourself. About You: We are seeking a responsible and caring woman, preferably aged 30-55. You should have good physical strength to assist with transfers. Nursing education or similar is meritorious, but equally important is that you have good personal chemistry to ensure mutual comfort. Important qualities include being conscientious, enjoying helping others, and having an empathetic and attentive approach. Patience and flexibility are also key attributes.
