HVB and Team Unit
Ängsvillan HVB is an assessment and treatment home managed by Region Gotland for families with children aged 0-12 years.
We accommodate up to four families at a time and also conduct home observations. Our service area covers all of Gotland. Eleven committed employees work here, supporting each other in meaningful and developmental work.
We offer external supervision, wellness allowance, a weekly wellness hour, and a work environment characterized by collaboration and participation. Ängsvillan is located in Hemse but will move to Visby in early 2026. We are currently in an exciting development phase where you will be an important part and given the opportunity to contribute to the continued development of our operations. As an investigation leader, you will work standard office hours.
Your Responsibilities
As an investigation leader, you plan, lead, and follow up on investigation and treatment work. You distribute tasks, compile investigations, analyze, and make assessments based on the child's needs. You collaborate closely with other units and external actors, ensuring work complies with applicable policy documents and guidelines.
All staff work according to Signs of Safety and BBIC, with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child as a foundation.
Who Are You?
You are a social worker with experience in assessing children's needs and parents' capabilities. Knowledge of BBIC and Signs of Safety is meritorious, as is experience in treatment work.
You are confident, calm, and collaborative, with a good ability to build relationships and believe in people's own power to change their situation. It is important that you work based on Region Gotland's core values: trust, care, and participation. Likewise, that you work to create a good work environment together with your colleagues.
Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
A criminal record and suspicion register check is required before employment.
