The Department of Children and Education operates on behalf of the Preschool Committee and the Primary School Committee. The department is responsible for preschool activities, school-age childcare, primary schools, and adapted primary schools. Our most important mission is to provide all children and students in Huddinge the opportunity to develop to their full potential in a safe educational environment. **About the Workplace**
The section for administration and authority currently employs about 12 investigators and case officers. Within the section, we work with supervision, school placements, and monitoring school attendance. We are located in premises close to Huddinge C.
**About the Position**
In the role of investigator, you will prepare cases for the committee, conduct complaint investigations, make decisions regarding additional funding, and work with regulatory enforcement within the framework of the Education Act.
You will also project manage investigative assignments, ensure processes and methods for investigative work, and be responsible for statistical collections within the education sector. Other tasks related to the assignment may also occur.
**Your Profile:**
**Your Education and Experience:**
• A degree in social sciences, law, education, or a relevant equivalent as assessed by the employer.
• Several years of documented work experience in investigative work within a public sector organization.
• Excellent ability to express yourself both in writing and verbally in Swedish.
• Good knowledge and experience of digital tools within the Office suite and case management and registry systems.
• A solid understanding of what it means to work in a politically governed organization.
**It is advantageous if you have:**
• Knowledge of the Education Act.
• Familiarity with the education system and the governing documents for preschool and school.
• Experience from similar work in a municipality, government school authority, or another equivalent organization.
• Experience in preparing cases for the committee within the education sector.
You possess strong analytical and stylistic abilities, take responsibility for achieving good results, and are diligent about delivering on time. You find it easy to understand national governing documents and can work flexibly with diverse tasks. As a person, you are self-driven, unpretentious, meticulous, and structured. You have good social skills and enjoy working both in teams and independently. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
