The Agency for Participation is the government agency responsible for implementing disability policy. The goal of disability policy is to create a society that is accessible to everyone. MFD supports organizations in making society and its services more usable for more people. Together with committed colleagues, you will work to support public and private organizations in this effort. You will also contribute to spreading knowledge about solutions to barriers, making it possible for more people to independently choose, make decisions, and influence their lives.

Job Responsibilities
You will work as an investigator in the Knowledge Support Department. The department works to provide support to agencies, regions, and municipalities in implementing disability policy. The department develops various support materials and conducts knowledge-enhancing initiatives such as seminars, lectures, and training.
Working as an investigator at the agency involves planning, preparing, implementing, and reporting on larger and smaller assignments and responding to referrals. It also includes representing the agency in various forums and contributing to internal development work. As an investigator, you will often work together with other investigators and functions to complete assignments. An important part of the investigator's role is to work closely with target groups and gather knowledge from people with personal experience of disability or the organizations representing them.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
• Academic degree at bachelor's level or higher in social sciences or equivalent as assessed by the employer.
• Several years of experience working strategically with national disability policy in government operations.
• Experience with project and process management in large and complex assignments.
• Experience in preparing decision-making documents and responding to referrals in government operations.
• Strong ability to communicate both in writing and verbally in Swedish and to compile and present knowledge and decision-making documents from a recipient perspective.
Advantageous
It is advantageous if you have:
• Good knowledge of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
• Worked with follow-up and analysis of cross-sectoral issues such as disability policy, accessibility, etc.
• Worked with strategic management in government operations.
Personal Characteristics
The role requires you to be self-driven and have good ability to plan, structure, and manage your work. You are solution-oriented, seek help when needed, and are good at collaboration with strong pedagogical skills. You enjoy working on multiple issues simultaneously while using your analytical abilities. You are committed to contributing to the organization's overall work and creating a good work environment.
