About the position
As an investigator, your tasks will involve a combination of quick, operational efforts and longer, planned projects. You will work on managing urgent situations as they arise while also driving long-term projects. The job requires you to quickly shift focus, prioritize effectively, and maintain a structured approach over time.
In the role of investigator with us, you will be an important part of the work that involves:
- Responding to rapid and complex inquiries from the agency's management and clients.
- Contributing to the agency's government assignments, for example by developing documentation, analyses and reports.
- Coordinating and following up on ongoing assignments and ensuring that we deliver on time and with high quality.
- Producing written materials and presentations used at strategic and political levels.
- Collaborating with colleagues from different parts of the agency and external stakeholders.
You will belong to the unit for assignment support and coordination, which is one of four units within the department for analysis and statistics.
The department for analysis and statistics strengthens the agency's analytical capacity and produces materials that enable the government, the agency, and other stakeholders to make well-informed decisions. The unit for assignment support and coordination has a special responsibility for handling urgent inquiries from the management and our clients while also coordinating and supporting in the agency's government assignments.
About you

We are looking for someone who has:
• Relevant academic education, for example in social sciences, law, political science, public health, or equivalent.
• Good understanding of the structure and dynamics of public administration, including the interaction between agencies, the government office, and political decision-makers.
• Experience in qualified investigative work, preferably within the public sector.
• Familiarity with analyzing, structuring, and presenting complex information clearly.
• Excellent ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.
It is advantageous for the position if you have:
• Experience working at a government agency.
• Knowledge of the health and medical care sector.
• Knowledge of digital information supply.
• Experience working in or with government assignments or EU projects.

The employment is a permanent position with a six-month probationary period. Start date is as soon as possible or as agreed. The place of employment is Stockholm or Kalmar. The position may involve business travel, mainly between the two locations.
