About the Role
As a rental agent at Hyreslandslaget in Norrtälje, you are the hub of our depot and a key player in our daily operations. You are responsible for customer contact, order management, and receiving returned machines, often setting the tone for the customer's experience with HLL.
Your workday is diverse – you meet customers in person, via phone and computer, and support colleagues at the depot to ensure smooth operations. You help customers find the right machine for the job, handle orders, and ensure machines are returned in good condition. Sometimes you'll also deliver machines to customer projects or assist them on-site. As a rental agent, you're responsible for delivering that extra touch.
The role requires flexibility, structure, and the ability to handle stressful situations – often with multiple tasks happening simultaneously, requiring you to maintain focus and deliver the same high level of service throughout.
Your Responsibilities
• Customer service at the depot, via phone and digital channels
• Order management, machine rental, and return processing
• Planning and coordinating deliveries and pick-ups
• Inspecting machines and equipment during check-in and check-out
• Collaborating with service technicians and colleagues to ensure high quality
• Contributing to a positive work environment and well-functioning depot
We're Looking for Someone Who is confident, service-oriented, and solution-driven, and who is passionate about providing customers with the best experience – whether helping them at the counter, managing an order, or solving a problem over the phone. You enjoy a hands-on role that combines customer interaction with technical and logistical tasks, and see the value in creating long-term relationships through genuine commitment and professional approach.
• Able to handle stressful situations and multitask
• Proficient with computers and fluent in Swedish (spoken and written)
• Holds a valid driver's license (B-class) (requirement)
• Previous experience in machine rental or similar customer-facing role in service, construction, or infrastructure (advantageous)
• Background in sales/retail (advantageous)
• Experience with lifts, construction, or infrastructure machinery (advantageous)
