At Älvsborg Amphibious Regiment in Gothenburg, we operate where land meets sea and serve as an important link between the army and naval forces. We are now seeking Training Officers for the Training Battalion Amf 4! The Training Battalion at Amf 4 conducts basic training for conscripts as well as extensive training and course activities for employed personnel. It is also at the Training Battalion that most of our newly graduated colleagues begin their careers to solidify and develop their skills in troop leadership and, within that framework, their leadership abilities. As a training officer, you will also have an important role in sharing your knowledge and experiences with our new colleagues. **Main Responsibilities** You will be part of the staff of the Training Battalion in the role of training officer. In this capacity, you will participate in the planning and execution of the battalion's activities. As a training officer, you will conduct/support training for both conscripts and employed GSS personnel or officers. The training activities will largely take place outside the garrison area at our shooting and training fields. You should also be prepared to work as a general staff member outside your regular area of work. **Requirements** **Qualifications** - Approved professional officer examination - B driver's license - At least 3 years of military professional experience **Desirable Qualifications** - Previous experience in a similar position. - Exercise leader for combat training with live ammunition at the platoon level. - Exercise leader for indirect fire. - Service in an amphibious unit or ranger unit. **Personal Attributes** We expect you to have high integrity, good analytical and social skills. You should possess strong collaboration abilities, with engagement and responsibility being two key words. A high level of security awareness is essential for the job. You are accustomed to working both independently and in a team. You are motivated by developing our employees, are flexible, and can quickly adapt to new circumstances. You can express yourself well in both spoken and written communication. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. **Other Information** Employment Type: Full-time 100% permanent position according to the officer regulations. Individual salary setting applies. The employment begins with a probationary period of 6 months for new hires.
