CSK is the emergency hospital for northeastern Skåne. Here, emergency healthcare is provided around the clock by qualified and committed employees. CSK offers the resources of a large hospital combined with the proximity and sense of community of a smaller one. The hospital provides care with short waiting times across all specialties for residents in its catchment area. Approximately 2,600 employees work here.

The Education Unit at CSK works on educational issues to support operations within the administration and regionally. The unit consists of clinical teachers, education coordinators, and HR administrators. Its main mission is to coordinate and distribute internship placements, ensure a good learning environment for students, quality-assure supervisor competence, promote competence development for new and existing employees, and strengthen future skills provision.
RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking someone who is passionate about and advocates for educational issues and has the desire to lead and continue developing the Education Unit at CSK. You have your sights set on creating an attractive workplace and want to develop the unit by actively working on continuous improvements.
As Education Director, you will work from a holistic perspective with responsibility for finances, operations, and personnel, and as the direct manager of seven employees in the Education Unit. You will provide a close and coaching leadership style, with the mission of creating the best possible conditions for employees to feel involved, contribute to development, and create a sense of belonging. Monitoring external trends is a prioritized part of the assignment, as is creating good relationships and collaboration platforms with other operations, both within and outside CSK, and with educational institutions.
Your immediate supervisor will be the HR Director at CSK, with whom you will together lead, improve, and follow up results based on the unit's mission.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking a candidate with an approved bachelor's degree in healthcare. A master's degree or doctorate is meritorious. We also prefer previous experience as a manager or in leadership roles and experience with change management. You must have Swedish language skills at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale.
To succeed in the role, you should have good knowledge and experience working with educational issues in healthcare and competence development. Expertise in research, especially related to evaluation and education, is meritorious. We also welcome candidates who want to contribute to developing collaboration with academic partners at both operational and strategic levels.
Your personality should be characterized by showing trust and respect, inviting dialogue and participation with the goal of creating a good workplace where people develop and thrive. It is important that you are innovative, able to motivate those around you, and highly engaged in the issues you drive. As a person, you are structured and attentive. You think strategically with a holistic perspective and have strong analytical and communication skills. Furthermore, you enjoy being where things are happening and feel comfortable during periods of high intensity. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
