We are looking for you who want to work as a teaching pedagogue in Vocational Swedish in Gothenburg and its surrounding areas. You will teach individuals who need language education specific to certain professions. The training consists of theory, workplace-based learning, and individually adapted language education. Travel within Borås and its surrounding areas may occur.

Job Responsibilities
As a Vocational Swedish pedagogue, you will teach foreign-born participants Swedish with connections to specific industries/professions. This is a job where you get more time for teaching as traditional grade administration is not included. You will have opportunities to work creatively on method development and use new technology for language learning. You will have coordinators and pedagogical managers to support you in your work.
The job involves continuous dialogue with the Employment Agency, collaboration with other labor market training providers, and building networks with employers. It is important to stay updated on labor market and business developments.
Background and Personal Characteristics
Option 1: A relevant professional education of at least one (1) year full-time in the professional area* you intend to teach, plus at least two (2) years of teaching experience in a professional area* for newcomers or foreign-born individuals with weak Swedish skills.
Option 2: Pedagogical education of 60 credits or equivalent, plus at least two (2) years of teaching experience in Swedish for newcomers or foreign-born individuals with weak Swedish skills, or
Education in Swedish as a second language of at least 30 credits, plus at least one (1) year of professional experience in one of the professional areas* requested.
