Are you a qualified preschool teacher looking to contribute to a safe start for our youngest citizens during their first encounter with preschool? Now is your chance to apply to help establish and run "spring preschools" in the spring of 2026.
As a preschool teacher, your role will be to work with the team to implement education and instruction based on the children's interests, needs, and curriculum goals, while also managing the onboarding of new children. You will create the conditions for all children to play, learn, and develop, while also having fun together.
Our preschools in Partille are characterized by engagement, safety, and warmth. Play and joyful learning are given ample space in our daily routines. Here, the child is always at the center, and we strive to provide a safe, fun, and educational preschool experience every day.
Qualifications
You are a trained preschool teacher. Experience with onboarding and involvement in starting new preschools is a merit. You have strong Swedish language skills in both spoken and written forms, as communication with guardians is a vital part of the role. You value your own skills and recognize the strength in working closely with your colleagues.
As an employee in the preschool, you work proactively in your interactions with the children, with the ability to read situations to contribute to a calm and developing environment. You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to build trusting relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues.
Personal suitability will be given considerable weight, as you will collaborate with various departments within the preschool.

Your new workplace
In the spring term of 2026, the municipality will open spring preschools in both the Björndammen and Lexby areas to meet the needs of our youngest residents for preschool placements. One spring preschool will be affiliated with Björndammen Preschool, and the other with Nygården Preschool. Both workplaces are well-connected to Partille center and Gothenburg.
The Education Administration is responsible for the municipality's childcare and educational activities from preschool and leisure centers to preschool classes, primary schools, adapted schools, secondary schools, adult education, and various commissioned training programs. Our vision is for every student to leave school enriched with knowledge and confident in their ability to create their future together with others. All students should also remember their school years as safe, fun, and educational. The various activities within the Education Administration have a clear, shared focus on the conditions for all children and students to complete their studies.

Recruitment Process
