Procurement Officer - Temporary Position

JOB DESCRIPTION We are currently seeking a curious and driven interim purchaser, as one of our employees will be on leave for a period. In the role of purchaser at Växjö Energi, you will support the organization in conducting procurements and contract follow-ups. The role also includes participating in our ongoing improvement work. As a purchaser at Växjö Energi AB, you will lead procurement activities in collaboration with the stakeholders in the group's three different business areas: Electricity Network, Power & Heat, and Wexnet. You will provide support in procurements and plan and execute procurements in a businesslike manner, ensuring that the organization's needs are met. The work encompasses the entire procurement process, from participating in needs analysis and market analysis, preparing procurement documents, conducting procurements and orders, to following up on contracts and prices. In your role as a purchaser, you will work hands-on in the operational tasks and have many contacts both internally with the group's various business areas and externally with suppliers. QUALIFICATIONS You should have relevant education in economics, purchasing, or procurement from a vocational college, university, or other education, or equivalent experience that we assess as comparable. You must have good computer skills and be proficient in expressing yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Practical experience is not a requirement, as training can be provided on-site for a driven and curious person. However, experience with the Public Procurement Act (LOU) or the Procurement Act for Supply Sectors (LUF) is advantageous, as is experience in project management. As a person, you should be meticulous, self-driven, and analytical with a sense of order and structure. You should be proactive and motivated to contribute to development and improvements. Since the work involves many contacts, it is important that you possess high social competence that inspires confidence in meetings with our employees and suppliers. Personal suitability is highly valued. We would also like you to have an interest in renewable energy, urban planning, and sustainability issues. Due to the nature of Växjö Energi's operations and the tasks involved, a security clearance may be required as part of the recruitment process.
