As a procurement specialist with us, you will have a job that is both developing and varied. About the Job In this role, you will work as both a procurement specialist and contract controller. As a procurement specialist, you will conduct procurements for goods and services, both above and below the threshold, but of less complex nature. You will also support other procurement specialists when needed. Working as a procurement specialist involves extensive contact with requesters and suppliers. The university's procurement needs are highly diverse, which is reflected in the procurement assignments. You will have a project management and consultative role in the procurements you are responsible for. You will work through the entire procurement process from needs and market research to contract design and document management. Your tasks will also include managing framework agreements. You will provide advice and support on procurement and purchasing matters to the organization. As a contract controller, you will work on monitoring framework agreements and conducting purchase analyses. In the follow-up process, you will collaborate with suppliers, the organization, and procurement specialists. We Want You to Have: • Multi-year vocational education in procurement or equivalent education, or have acquired equivalent knowledge through practical work with public procurement both above and below the threshold • Good knowledge of public procurement regulations • Excellent ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English • Good skills in digital tools, especially Excel It is meritorious if you have: • Experience or education in contract follow-up • Experience with public procurement Your Workplace You will work within the Procurement Unit at Campus Valla in Linköping, which is part of the joint administration at LiU. The unit currently has a unit manager and ten employees who coordinate and conduct procurements, provide advice, information, and training on procurement issues for the entire university, and follow up and maintain contracts and supplier contacts. The unit provides professional procurement support and works to develop strategic and long-term perspectives in procurement activities. About the Position Full-time temporary position until 2027-01-31 with potential for extension. Commencement: By agreement, no later than 2026-02-16 Salary and Benefits Individual salary setting.
