The Procurement Unit at Tyresö Municipality is at the beginning of a transformation journey and is now seeking several roles to strengthen our organization, including an experienced procurement specialist focused on IT.

About the Position
This is a permanent position at the Procurement Unit, which belongs to the Finance Department of the Municipal Executive Administration. The Procurement Unit is a competent and cheerful team that places great value on quality, creating value, and good business.
The group consists of approximately 10 employees in roles such as procurement specialists, contract controllers, procurement lawyers, and unit managers. Tyresö also collaborates with other municipalities in Södertörn for joint procurement and with the municipality's subsidiary Tyresö Bostäder.
We are now seeking an IT Procurement Specialist with several years of experience to independently plan, drive, and execute IT procurements within the public sector in consultation with clients and other stakeholders.
As an IT Procurement Specialist, you will have a key role in driving procurement projects that strengthen the municipality's digital infrastructure. As a structured and engaged project leader, you will create conditions for efficient, sustainable solutions with a focus on legislation, business acumen, and operational benefit.
You will collaborate closely with departments to understand their needs and transform these into strategic and legally secure procurements in accordance with the Public Procurement Act (LOU). You are expected to lead negotiations and support departments in contractual and market/industry-related matters, so it is important that you have experience from both the industry and IT contracts.
You will primarily work with procurements in IT and digitalization, but other areas may also be relevant. The Procurement Unit is responsible for the municipality's procurement and purchasing processes and their development. This is an ongoing work where you are expected to participate and contribute.

We Are Seeking Someone Who Has:
- Relevant education, such as an academic degree in economics or law, alternatively a vocational college degree in procurement/purchasing, preferably with an IT focus. Alternatively, you have acquired equivalent knowledge through several years of documented industry experience that the employer deems equivalent.
- Several years of experience independently conducting public procurements in the IT area
- Good knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LOU)
- Good knowledge of contract law and IT contracts
- Good knowledge of data protection and information security
- Good understanding of IT and digitalization technology and its terminology
- Very good ability to express oneself well verbally and in writing, both in Swedish and English
Meritorious Experience Includes:
