Do you want to work with Electrical Power at one of the world's largest consulting firms in infrastructure and urban development? We are currently seeking a project manager who wants to drive the development towards innovative and sustainable energy solutions. With us, you will have the opportunity to lead exciting projects of varying sizes and complexities, focusing on technology, sustainability, and continuous development, alongside engaged and competent colleagues.
In the role of project manager in electrical power at SYSTRA, you will have overall responsibility for the entire assignment, from leading and coordinating to ensuring that the project's goals and timelines are met. A central part of the role is to build and maintain good relationships with our clients, where you will be the main contact for matters related to contracts, finances, and schedules. You will be part of our Civil Design business area, but you will also have the opportunity to engage in other types of urban development projects, such as in railways, where your expertise in electrical power is a valuable asset. This way, you can broaden your experience alongside colleagues from various parts of the organization.
Your responsibilities:
• Be responsible for and coordinate design and deliveries, such as the preparation of technical documentation for distribution networks and station facilities.
• Act as technical support and advisor to our clients on matters related to the reconstruction and new construction of electrical networks and stations.
• Lead and coordinate the team to ensure that project goals are achieved.
• Participate in early phases such as feasibility studies and bidding processes, as well as attend construction and project meetings during the contract.
• Work with a wide range of voltage levels (0.4–400 kV).
• Be responsible for financial management, timelines, and deliveries according to the assignment description.
About you:
We are looking for someone who is proactive and has a natural ability to lead others towards common goals. You take responsibility for your work and actively contribute to a positive and collaborative atmosphere, both with colleagues and in dialogue with our clients. Your leadership is characterized by engagement and the ability to motivate, while you also have a structured approach and are skilled at organizing, planning, and prioritizing. Through your attention to detail and sense of order, you ensure that deliveries are of high quality and that assignments are carried out within set timelines.
Qualifications:
• Post-secondary education in electrical power, energy, civil engineering, or another relevant technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience working in urban development, infrastructure, or a related field.
• Several years of experience working with distribution networks and power supply systems.
• Experience working in client, consulting, or contracting operations.
• Solid technical competence and familiarity with tools and systems such as AMA, PLS-CAD, ElproCAD, or equivalent.
• Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Meritorious:
• Previous experience in leadership roles, such as project manager or similar position.
• Documented experience in design within regional networks and/or transmission networks.
• Experience from complex technical projects in electrical power or energy supply.
