You will also have the opportunity for professional development in consultation with the department head and program area manager. **Eligibility and Qualifications** We are looking for someone who has at least a master's degree in mathematics or a related field. Alternatively, if you do not have a master's degree, you have a subject teacher's degree in mathematics or documented professional skills relevant to the subject matter and job responsibilities. You have broad subject knowledge in mathematics and teaching experience. Teaching experience from higher education is an advantage. You have excellent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Your computer skills are good, and you are proficient in Windows and MS Office. Experience with any learning platform is a merit. Kristianstad University places great emphasis on the pedagogical skills of our employed teachers. Upon hiring, you are expected to have completed higher education pedagogical training of at least 15 credits or present equivalent knowledge; alternatively, it will be included in your professional development plan to complete such training within the first two years of employment. If you have any other pedagogical training, that is also a merit. Great importance is placed on personal suitability and the ability to contribute to a positive and developing work environment. You collaborate well with others in a responsive and flexible manner. The work requires you to be self-assured, able to distinguish between personal and professional matters, and adapt to situations. You are self-driven, take responsibility for your tasks, and push your work forward. Clear verbal communication and pedagogical insight are central in interactions with students. You are pedagogical with a good understanding of how others absorb knowledge, their different conditions, and can adapt your message to the recipient.
