Job Responsibilities The Department of Culture, Society, Form and Media (KSFM) conducts research and education at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in areas including Global Studies, Culture and Media Design, and Culture and Society (Theme Q). Theme Q carries out interdisciplinary research at the intersection of humanities and social sciences, with a special emphasis on culture, media, and cultural heritage. The position involves teaching within the Communication, Society, and Media Production (KSM) program and the main field of Culture and Media Design. The role emphasizes the interplay between socio-cultural theoretical perspectives and design in communicative and interactive media, their processes, and production conditions. The position includes teaching exhibition media and its development within the main field. The position is focused on spatial design, production processes, and industry knowledge in exhibition areas, museum and cultural production sectors, including content creation, administrative and strategic processes, and work conditions. As a University Lecturer in Culture and Media Design with a focus on spatial design, you will teach at undergraduate and advanced levels in Swedish and supervise students in KSFM's various educational programs. Qualifications We seek candidates who have: • Master's degree or equivalent competence • Artistic and pedagogical skills • Artistic and creative production experience in museum work, exhibitions, or curation • Extensive practical experience in relevant industries, particularly exhibition project planning and implementation • Interdisciplinary and cross-media education experience • Knowledge of cultural production conditions, strategies, and institutional practices • Good pedagogical abilities and administrative skills • Ability to work collaboratively • Structured work approach • Knowledge of exhibition media history • Willingness to develop new skills and take on challenges Position Details • Part-time position (50%) • Duration: January 1 to July 1 • Individual salary setting Application Deadline: December 2 Linköping University welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
