Department of Informatics and Media has a broad research profile based on current research areas focused on, among other things, digitalization, interaction design, media, and communication. The department has extensive teaching assignments in program courses and independent courses within the Faculty of Social Sciences. The department has a turnover of approximately 86 million SEK and employs around 80 staff members.
Job Responsibilities
The position involves course responsibility, teaching, and examination for the course 2is072 Agile Methods, which is taught in English within the Master's Program in Systems Science. Additional teaching duties will depend on the applicant's merits and may include supervision at bachelor's and master's levels or course responsibility, teaching, and examination for other courses. Active participation in departmental work requires on-site presence.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a degree from basic higher education and demonstrate the ability to teach in English. Applicants will be selected through a comprehensive qualitative assessment of their potential to perform the required tasks and contribute to the positive development of the organization.
Pedagogical competence will be evaluated based on planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching. The role requires strong collaborative skills and the ability to independently manage and complete tasks within given timeframes, even during temporary workload peaks. Significant emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, initiative-taking, and problem-solving in a constructive manner for the organization.
