Dalarna University Seeks Lecturer in Business Administration Dalarna University is seeking a lecturer in business administration for one of Sweden's most modern campuses in central Borlänge. We offer business administration campus education at both bachelor's and master's levels and are now challenging ourselves to implement two bachelor's programs delivered online. We conduct research in sustainable business, business development, CSR, leadership, marketing, entrepreneurship, and circular economy. Your Day as a Teacher/Lecturer Dalarna University offers a varied position where you will have the opportunity to be responsible for teaching and course development, contribute to the research environment, and collaborate with external actors. We value individual initiatives and collaborations within and across disciplines. This position involves a significant amount of teaching responsibilities, including course management, instruction, examination, and supervision both on campus and online. Are You the Person We're Looking For? Qualifications for a teaching position are specified in the Higher Education Ordinance and Dalarna University's employment regulations. Eligible for employment as a university lecturer: - Demonstrated pedagogical skills - Completed master's degree or equivalent academic professional education - Other professional qualifications relevant to the position's subject content and job responsibilities Required Qualifications: - Master's degree in Business Administration - Excellent ability to teach in both Swedish and English - Experience teaching at bachelor's and master's levels in business administration Advantageous Qualifications: - Licentiate or doctoral degree in Business Administration - Minimum 3 years of higher education teaching experience - Experience in program leadership or similar academic leadership roles - Specialization in Human Resource Management - Higher education pedagogical training Much of the work occurs in teams, requiring strong collaboration skills, initiative, and a high degree of responsibility. We place significant emphasis on pedagogical skills. Those lacking qualifying higher education pedagogical training are expected to acquire this competence within two years of employment start. Assessment Criteria The university will consider candidates who, after a comprehensive qualitative assessment, are deemed to have the best prerequisites for fulfilling the position's responsibilities. A pedagogical assessment may be required.
