JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The position involves 50% research time over four years or 33% over six years with clinical specialist training (ST) during the remaining time. After four or six years, the employment transitions to a regular ST physician at 100% for the remainder of the time until specialist certification. The university ST physician position can be extended by the holder arranging research funding independently. In the Northern Healthcare Region, there are central research funds in the ALF system specifically allocated for junior researchers (according to the Research Council's definition) with the possibility of three-year project grants that can also be used for personal salary.
