The facility is centrally located in Motala. The operation serves individuals under LSS with intellectual disabilities, autism, or autism-like conditions - with a focus on comorbidity or psychiatric additional diagnoses.
About the Support Assistant Role
As a support assistant, you will work to offer a meaningful and predictable daily life for our residents. We work systematically and goal-oriented based on the assignment plan we receive from our clients, with a professional and salutogenic approach to our work.
We adapt our work to each individual's conditions and needs, with the personal implementation plan as our starting point. Our goal is for residents to become as independent as possible, supporting them in using their own resources to develop and achieve a good quality of life.
Our primary working methods are low-affective approach and clarifying pedagogy. We also maintain a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the operation's resources and budget.
Qualifications
• Excellent Swedish language skills, both verbal and written
• Good computer skills, experience with documentation
• Experience working in care and support services
• High school education such as child and leisure program, care and support program, or post-secondary education like support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or college education in a relevant field
• Valid B driver's license required
Additional Merits
• Experience with psychiatry, AAC, and low-affective approach
• Worked with complex support needs
Employment Conditions
Employment Type: Hourly position, temporary contract with potential for permanent employment
Work Scope: Part-time
Work Hours: Day, evening, weekend, and sleeping on-call shifts possible
Start Date: By agreement, early start preferred
Collective Agreement: Bound by Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E
