About Unika Brunnvägen Unika Brunnvägen is a group home according to LSS person group 1, located in the idyllic town of Ulricehamn, close to forests and waterways. The property consists of 6 apartments in a single-story building. About the role of Support Assistant As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to individuals with disabilities, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in daily life. You will assist the users in their daily routines and activities based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point. We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, focusing on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The aim is for users to achieve as much independence as possible and to lead a meaningful life with a high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will employ clear pedagogical methods and low-arousal responses to create security and predictability in the users' daily lives. At the same time, we maintain a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the resources and budget of the organization. Qualifications • Excellent proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. • Good computer skills, experience in documentation. • Experience in care and support work. • Secondary education, such as a program in child and leisure studies, care and support, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogy, social pedagogy, or a university degree in a relevant field. It is an advantage if you also have: • Experience in psychiatry, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and low-arousal responses. • Experience working with complex support needs. Employment Conditions Employment Type: Permanent Working Hours: 90-100% Schedule: Rotating day/evening/weekend shifts Start Date: By agreement, we view positively if you can start soon.
