About Unika Nimbus Child and Youth Housing
Unika Nimbus Child and Youth Housing in Lund is a residence for children and young people belonging to category 1 in LSS. We are a flexible operation where we can meet each resident's individual needs and interests, from leisure activities to daily wishes. We often take trips to nearby destinations, engage in recreational activities together, visit local shops, or take the bus downtown. We strive for participation and influence for our young residents in everything from cooking to choosing movies during shared movie time.
About the Support Assistant Role
As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to people with functional variations, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in daily life. You will support users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.
We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, focusing on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for users to achieve maximum independence and live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will work using clarifying pedagogy and low-affective approach to create security and predictability in users' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the organization's resources.
Qualifications
• Excellent Swedish language skills, both verbal and written
• Good computer skills, experience with documentation
• Experience with clarifying pedagogy
• Experience in care and support services
• High school education (e.g., child and leisure program, care and support program) or post-secondary education (e.g., support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field)
• Valid driver's license is required

Employment Type: Permanent
Work Degree: Approximately 85%
Working Hours: Irregular, evening, night shift, weekend
Start Date: By agreement, we welcome early start
