Ref: 20252561 KAA-Youth Malmö works to ensure that all young people aged 16-19 in Malmö have meaningful engagements through studies, internships, work, or other activities. Through outreach and guidance initiatives, we support young individuals who, for various reasons, are outside of education or the labor market. Our goal is to build trust, ignite motivation, and contribute to sustainable pathways forward for Malmö's youth. We are now seeking a youth navigator whose primary responsibility is to conduct outreach activities and establish trusting relationships with young people covered by the municipal activity responsibility. Job Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and reaching out to youth within KAA, as well as planning and executing activities that strengthen their pathways towards studies, work, or other meaningful engagements. As a youth navigator, you will work both in outreach in our various areas and by establishing contacts with civil society, associations, and other relevant actors. Your aim is to reach the target group, build trusting relationships, and initiate collaboration between different parties as needed. You will follow and support the youth in their transitions – both into and out of the program – to create security and continuity. An important part of your assignment is also to document and follow up on conducted initiatives to ensure quality and development in the work. Qualifications Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in social work, sociology, pedagogy, or behavioral sciences, or other equivalent education deemed relevant by the employer • Several years of experience working with youth, preferably in social work, recreational activities, or education • Experience collaborating with various authorities and civil society • Good digital skills and familiarity with systems • Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as English spoken. Meritorious: • Experience and interest in working with content on social media platforms to spread knowledge about our activities. About the Workplace KAA – Youth Malmö works with young people aged 16-19 who fall under the statutory municipal activity responsibility. We target residents of Malmö who are neither studying nor engaged in any other activities. Our mission is to create opportunities where there have previously been obstacles.
