We are seeking a committed youth coach who wants to work with children and youth placed in our foster homes. The position is based in Västernorrland County and will be on an hourly employment basis according to needs.
As a youth coach, you will work supportively and motivationally with children and young people placed in foster homes. You will become an important part of their network – a trusted adult who can listen, guide, and create structure in their daily lives.
The work will be performed both independently and in collaboration with foster homes, social services, and treatment personnel.
Example Work Tasks:
• Individual conversations and supportive interventions for children and youth.
• Motivational discussions about school, leisure, and future.
• Support in social relationships, emotional regulation, and self-image.
• Collaboration with foster homes, social workers, and other stakeholders.
• Documentation and follow-up according to assignment.
Qualifications:
• Social work degree or equivalent education in social work, behavioral science, or psychology.
• Experience working with children and youth, preferably within foster care, residential care, or open care services.
• Good collaborative abilities and comfort working independently.
• Ability to adapt to different situations and individual needs.
• Driver's license (B) is required.

Scope and Work Location
Hourly employment with potential for expansion.
Work based in Västernorrland County, with travel within and outside the region.
