The Culture and Leisure Administration manages and oversees the municipality's cultural and leisure facilities, such as libraries, youth centers, cultural schools, theaters, and sports facilities. We also provide services and grants to associations within the municipality.
The Active Leisure Unit is now seeking part-time youth coaches.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a youth coach with us, we work with health factors from a promoting perspective. We are inspired by and work to "boost" young people's self-esteem by providing them with the right tools and resources to implement their ideas.
You will work in open youth activities at youth centers and collaborate with the mobile youth service, which focuses on engaging with young people in rural areas. The role involves working with participation, equality, and social sustainability, which requires collaboration with other departments.
The position includes day, evening, and weekend shifts.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience working with youth aged 12-19.
• A valid driver's license (B category) is required.
• High school education.
You need to have the ability to create relationships with young people in a safe and trustworthy manner. You have experience in leading, motivating, and inspiring individuals and groups. The work requires personal maturity and a joy in working with youth. We place high demands on social competence and appropriate values in working with young people, as well as good collaboration skills and the ability to foster participation and engagement. We see that you are flexible and self-driven in your work and can adapt to the needs of the youth.
