Welcome to Ung Extra, a valuable part-time job for young people.
Are you between 16 and 19 years old, living in Hisingen, and want to gain valuable work experience? Then Ung Extra is for you. With us, you have the opportunity to work approximately 16 hours per month during one semester. Work shifts are typically located on weekends or weekday evenings.
What do we offer you?
As an Ung Extra participant, you'll get the chance to try different tasks within municipal activities and develop skills in areas such as social work, care and healthcare, leisure, property management, entrepreneurship, and youth leadership. We believe in giving young people a great start in working life and the opportunity to explore several exciting job tasks!
Recruitment Process:
During December, you will be notified whether you have advanced in the recruitment process. Candidates who move forward will receive an email invitation to a mandatory information meeting in November/December. During the meeting, we will go through all relevant information regarding a potential employment.

Qualifications
Who can apply?
• You should be between 16 and 19 years old and registered as a resident of Hisingen.
• You can work up to 16 hours per month, often evening hours on weekdays or weekends.
All youth living in Hisingen are welcome to apply!

About Us
Hisingen Social Administration is part of the social services in the City of Gothenburg. We are one of four social administrations. We work purposefully to create a better everyday life for residents of Hisingen.
We offer support in individual and family care, social emergency services, help with addiction, and integration issues. We also work with leisure activities and preventive work in areas such as public health, community planning, local safety work, and integration issues.
