About this role
I am entering a new phase. I am taking steps to find my way in adult life with my own apartment. This is where you come in, as you will enable this for me. You will support me so that I can live the independent life I want to lead. You will become an important part of my development. I am currently building up my assistance team and am looking for a dedicated assistant.
I would describe myself as having a strong personality but being cautious, with many thoughts and a sense of humor. I am 23 years old and come from South Korea. My biggest interests are music, food, and books. I am attracted to learning new things. I enjoy spending time with my family. I like activities such as going out and snowboarding, or watching movies. At the moment, I am not engaged in any work, which makes my days look a bit unusual right now. My hope is to study in the long term.
Cerebral Palsy happens to be a companion in my life. It teaches me a lot about myself and the world around me. It affects my entire body, especially my right side and oral motor skills. I need support or assistance with everything physical. I communicate using alternative methods. Therefore, I need assistants who can interpret and convey my communication in both Swedish and English. I can walk, but I use a wheelchair for longer distances.
**Job Responsibilities**
I may need your help in various ways at different times, even with the same task. Sometimes I have more energy, sometimes less. It is important that you are attentive and do not make assumptions. As my assistant, you need to know me, my disabilities, and my communication methods very well. You need to be able to pick up on details and nuances about me. Good hygiene is important in this job for both me and you.
As a personal assistant, you will help me with:
- Personal hygiene such as bathroom visits, showering, and dressing
- Care for Mic-Key
- Meals (I eat by mouth but also have a Mic-Key/"button on my stomach" as a supplement)
- Household chores and daily activities
- Everything that requires two hands
- Activities outside the home
- Leisure activities and interests
- Accompanying me on short trips
- Support in communication and taking notes
- Medical visits or similar situations where communication support is particularly significant – you will be my spokesperson
- Being present and attentive to my needs and routines
- Providing support without taking over – your efforts should promote my independence when I have the energy
- Occasionally taking your own initiatives but asking me first
- Handling close and intimate support with respect for my privacy
**Position**
I am looking for a personal assistant for an average of 34 hours per week. Due to the nature of the job, I am seeking someone who identifies as a woman. The position is a part-time employment with the possibility of extension if we get along well after the trial period. The work shifts are scheduled as follows (subject to change due to travel or other reasons):

- Saturday: 06:30–12:00 and 12:00–23:45
- Sunday: 06:30–12:00 and 12:00–23:00
You will work some of these shifts to reach your required hours. At times, you will work more, and at other times less, which will also affect your salary. Your schedule may need to change. As a personal assistant, you will work independently. It is beneficial if you can step in extra during illness or other vacancies.

To thrive and succeed in this role, you need to:
- Be able to cook
- Be able to take notes
- Be willing to learn sign language as support

**Personal Qualities**
I am looking for someone who is genuinely interested in people and personal assistance. You are flexible and structured. You are present, attentive, curious, mature, professional, and secure in yourself. You have good communication skills (both verbal and alternative communication methods). You can be my spokesperson in various situations by picking up on details and nuances about me and understanding me. You can build deep, professional relationships so that I can trust you as my assistant. You are open to feedback and dialogue and understand the importance of providing support without taking over while also taking your own initiatives at times.
