About the Workplace Furuboda Assistans is a private personal assistance provider in southern Sweden with roots in the non-profit Association Furuboda. Job Responsibilities We are now seeking an engaged and caring personal assistant for an energetic and talkative young man living with his family in Åhus. The young man lives in a separate annex connected to his family's house and maintains close contact with family members. The home is equipped with a ceiling lift and other assistive devices as needed. He enjoys spending time with family, eating good food, watching YouTube clips, listening to music, and always has a ready laugh. During weekdays, he attends school in Kristianstad, where school staff works with him during school hours. Your working hours will primarily be weekdays after school, from 2:00 PM–10:00 PM. During weekends and school holidays, working hours may vary, so some flexibility is desirable. We are looking for someone who: • Has a genuine interest in working with people • Is calm, attentive, and good at building positive relationships • Holds a driver's license, as a car will be used for joint activities • Is flexible and can adapt to the family's routines • Is not allergic to cats or dogs, as the family has pets You will receive a thorough introduction to ensure both you and the young man feel comfortable with each other.
