About the job
You will work to coordinate and develop the frameworks for our work based on scientific principles and proven experience. The Swedish National Agency for Education has been assigned to enhance the scientific foundation of its work. You will be a project leader within a project organization formed to strengthen this initiative.
You will manage your own projects while also participating in the work of others. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing the agency's systematic approach to compiling knowledge, as well as assisting in the work with the Agency’s Scientific Council.
You will be part of a project organization consisting of seven people. The project organization is currently located within the leadership department of the School Development Department, which employs approximately 150 staff members. By mid-2026, the project organization will transition into a permanent function.

You will work in our modern and spacious office in Solna Business Park. You may also have the option to work remotely for up to 50% of your time.

In this position, you should have:
- A PhD in a field relevant to the education sector,
- Experience in compiling research for public authorities,
- Recent experience leading projects in a professional setting,
- Strong skills in producing written materials,
- Proficient experience in delivering oral presentations in various contexts.
It is advantageous if you have been or are active as a researcher post-dissertation, have experience in creating processes or structures for generating knowledge bases in public authorities, possess good knowledge of quantitative methods, and have experience working in government-directed operations.

- Focused on goals and results, planning and prioritizing accordingly,
- Able to see the bigger picture and consider the best interests of the organization.
