About the workplace
Gransäterskolan is a dual-parallel F–9 school with approximately 490 students.
At the school, there is a municipal special education group, Aspen. The school is located on the outskirts of Bålsta, close to natural areas.
We systematically work on the development areas that the school has ahead of it. Our approach is solution-focused – we meet students where they are and help them achieve as much as possible academically with a high level of goal fulfillment.

We are now looking for an important person who can teach social studies subjects to us in grades 6-9, as our current social studies teacher will be on leave during the upcoming term.
Your responsibilities
As a social studies teacher with us, you will teach social studies subjects (geography, history, religion, and civics) in grades 6–9. You will plan, implement, and follow up on teaching based on applicable governing documents and work to create a safe and stimulating learning environment.
The assignment includes:
- Teaching social studies subjects for grades 6–9
- Assessment and grading according to the curriculum
- Collaboration with colleagues in work teams and subject teams
- Active participation in the school's development work
- Contact and collaboration with students and guardians
Qualifications and personal qualities
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a certified teacher with qualifications in social studies subjects for grades 6–9
- Has good didactic skills and can create inclusive teaching
- Is structured, responsible, and has good collaboration skills
- Has a solution-oriented approach and a commitment to students' learning and development
