About the job Are you a caregiver interested in creating meaning for individuals with dementia every day? Then a position with us may be right for you! As a caregiver with us, you will have an exciting and developmental role. We are currently seeking two caregivers for temporary positions within Villa Videbeck, Floor 1. Villa Videbeck, Floor 1, is a specialized accommodation for people with dementia. Here there are 4 wings with nine apartments each. We work according to each individual’s specific needs and ensure that the individual’s strengths are utilized. We are now looking for you who want to work with us and share our core values, with a strong interest in dementia care. Job Responsibilities As a caregiver with us, you will contribute to good care and support for users in their homes. You will work with care tailored to the individual's needs. This may involve social and physical activities, both individually and in groups. In your work, you will assist users with health and medical interventions as well as therapeutic interventions as prescribed by a nurse, physiotherapist, and occupational therapist. Case management is part of your role, which includes having special responsibility for one or more individuals. You will help create good relationships with colleagues, users, and relatives. Your work will also include ongoing documentation and responsibility for establishing, following up, and revising implementation plans. Who are you We are looking for someone who takes responsibility for their tasks with the best interests of the users in focus and is committed to completing their work. As a person, you possess the ability to take initiative and build trusting relationships based on care and empathy. You work independently and have good collaborative skills as you actively participate in teamwork. Requirements: - Proof of protected professional title as a caregiver from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from a previous employer confirming that you held a permanent position as a caregiver on July 1, 2023. - Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, with good reading comprehension. - Basic digital competency. Meritorious: - Diploma from a care and nursing college. - Experience in similar work and/or education in dementia care. - Experience with documentation. Additional Information We are seeking two caregivers for temporary positions at 100% from February 26, 2023, to February 27, 2023. You will work scheduled hours, including days, evenings, and weekends. Your employment will be within the Social Welfare Sector of Lidköping Municipality, which means you may be required to work in units other than Villa Videbeck.
