About the position
We are currently seeking five nursing assistants for care and support, stationed at Lindängen Nursing Home, Solvik Nursing Home or within home care services. In this role, you will contribute daily to creating value for individuals. Your daily work will be highly varied, and you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the quality of life for our clients.
In home care services, you will enjoy a dynamic and active work environment where your tasks, based on approved assistance, include standard home care services such as personal care, accompaniment, respite care at home, cleaning, shopping, and laundry.
At our nursing homes, Lindängen and Solvik, your responsibilities will include providing care for the elderly and working according to each resident's individual implementation plan in accordance with the Social Services Act, concerning both daily care and social activities. Delegation of certain medical tasks from the responsible nurse may occur. Solvik Nursing Home is located in central Tidaholm, while Lindängen Nursing Home is situated 8 km outside Tidaholm in Ekedalen.
Your tasks will also include documenting and recording the services provided, as well as carrying out health and medical interventions as delegated by licensed personnel. You will work according to a schedule that includes both day and evening shifts during weekdays and weekends.
These positions are permanent, full-time day/evening/weekend roles, with an immediate start or as agreed.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a qualified nursing assistant and can present proof of a protected professional title. Experience in elderly care is an advantage, as well as prior delegation for medication and insulin. Training in supervision and experience with lifecare is also preferable.
Basic IT skills and computer proficiency are required, as computers/smartphones are used for documentation and recording in the role. Since a significant part of your tasks involves communication and documentation, good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is necessary.
As a person, you are responsible, flexible, and resilient under stress. You should have a strong ability to work independently. To thrive in this role, you need a genuine interest in working with people, along with a good and respectful attitude towards both colleagues and clients. Personal suitability will be prioritized.
A B driver's license is required, and you should be able to ride a bike.
