We are a central operating department that performs surgeries in orthopedics, surgery/vascular, ear, nose and throat (ENT), urology, and gynecology/obstetrics. The operating department also includes a sterile technical unit. Here, you will have a stimulating and diverse work environment thanks to both emergency and planned surgeries. We perform a wide range of surgical procedures, including both long and short operations. You will encounter patients of all ages - children, youth, and adults.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are now welcoming two nursing assistants to our Operations Department in Helsingborg!
As a nursing assistant, you are part of the team responsible for patient care during surgery and play a significant role in collaboration with the operating team colleagues. You assist and support the anesthesia nurse and operating room nurse during surgery. You help set up and dismantle the operating area before and after procedures. When assisting the anesthesia nurse, you also help with sedation and awakening. Additionally, handling medical-technical equipment is part of your duties.
During the introduction, which will be tailored to your needs, you will work daytime, Monday to Friday. Once you are ready for independent work, you will transition to day, evening, and weekend shifts. We use a business-adapted schedule in MultiAcess that you can influence according to your preferences.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking a trained nursing assistant who meets the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you studied under previous or current program structures. A specialization in emergency healthcare/medical care is advantageous for this position. You should have excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. Previous experience in surgical healthcare or emergency care is meritorious. Familiarity with journal systems Orbit and Melior is also appreciated.
This is a position for someone who wants work characterized by variation and excitement while maintaining calm and prioritizing tasks. We seek someone who takes responsibility for providing the best patient care. It is essential that you have good collaboration skills and are comfortable and experienced working in teams. Personal suitability will be given significant consideration.

Please note that you need certificates/transcripts (not just diplomas) from your nursing assistant education for your application to be considered complete.
If you have received proof of protected professional title, this must also be attached to your application.
You must show proof of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate of permanent employment as of July 1, 2023. Without this proof, you will be hired as a care assistant on a temporary contract while awaiting the certificate.
