What does the job as a nurse assistant at Norlandia Elderly Care entail?
A nurse assistant at Norlandia is a valuable key person, and we are looking for someone who is skilled in their professional role and enjoys meeting people in various situations.
Together in the team with nurses, rehabilitation staff, and management, we collaborate around the resident to provide a good life every day.
We are seeking someone with a genuine interest in elderly individuals, with primary responsibilities to create safe and personal care. You will support the resident in their daily life and create conditions for a secure and meaningful everyday experience. As a nurse assistant, you are responsible for providing high-quality care in accordance with what has been agreed upon with the resident in the implementation plan.
This includes, among other things:
• Working as a contact person based on Norlandia's "Your Day" concept.
• Personal care and support that utilizes the resident's own resources.
• Working with Norlandia's "Delicious Meal" concept to ensure residents appreciate their meals and have an enjoyable dining experience.
• Documentation according to the Social Services Act; maintaining a social journal and establishing and following up on implementation plans.
• Planning, offering, and conducting daily activities, outdoor visits, entertainment, crafts, cultural activities, etc., both individual and group activities.
• Performing service tasks such as apartment cleaning, laundry, accompaniment, and shopping.
• Receiving and performing delegated tasks, such as medication delegation.
• Actively participating in the organization's quality and improvement work.
About Karl Nordström's Road Elderly Care Facility
Karl Nordström's Road is a cozy elderly care facility located in Apelviken, Varberg, close to nature and a stone's throw from the Coast Hotel with good bus connections. The facility has 51 resident spaces distributed across 4 houses. Two houses are dementia-focused, and the other two are for general care. Each unit has shared spaces such as a kitchen, dining room, balconies, and a common room where residents socialize, have meals, watch TV, or enjoy a cup of coffee.

Requirements:
• Must have proof of the right to use the nurse assistant professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare
• Previous experience in healthcare and eldercare is meritorious
• Good documentation skills
• Excellent Swedish language skills in both speaking and writing
• Good computer skills
• Knowledge of relevant national quality registers

Employment Type: Temporary Position
Scope: 80%
Start Date: As soon as possible
Duration: April 1, 2026
We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews will be conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
A criminal record extract will be required before potential employment. You must also be able to prove your right to work in Sweden by showing citizenship within EU/EEA or a valid work permit.
