JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Your tasks involve providing care, help, and support to our residents at Bompabacken Nursing Home. As a nursing assistant, you are part of the daily work to help individuals maintain good living conditions based on different circumstances and needs. You will collaborate with the environment and work solution-focused to meet individual needs without compromising their right to self-determination, integrity, and influence. A large part of the position involves traditional care work. The assignment may include: - Promoting social community and engagement - Assisting with personal care such as showering, toilet visits, meal help, etc. - Documenting and managing medications (delegation test will be conducted) - Planning and implementing daily activities - Guiding and supporting individuals in a lifestyle that prevents ill health, including diet, physical activity, and social stimulation - Working pedagogically Work is scheduled during daytime hours between 06:45-21:15. You will work day or evening shifts and every other weekend. We have a fixed basic schedule. We can offer great variation in work as our operations include a dementia ward, a special care facility, and a home care group. We work across department boundaries as needed and also use resource shifts. QUALIFICATIONS We prefer candidates with a nursing assistant or care assistant qualification, but if you are untrained with a genuine interest in people, we will train you. Previous experience in dementia care is considered meritorious. Additionally, the role requires proficiency in digital journal systems and good Swedish communication skills, both verbal and written. The position requires independent work planning to meet the needs of those requiring our help. We prefer candidates with a B driver's license.
