Responsibilities
As a team member, your primary task is to provide support, motivation, and care to our users. We work to promote health with the aim of strengthening individuals' own abilities, ensuring that everyone who receives our support feels secure in staying in their home.
Participation, development, and community are key themes for us, where continuous improvements create favorable conditions for good quality. We utilize welfare technology aimed at increasing security, participation, and independence for our users.
Your duties will include, among other things, personal care, support with household tasks in users' homes, medication management and wound care, documentation, case management duties, as well as social and physical activities with our users. We work in teams, meaning that many different professional groups share the common goal of creating a good quality of life for our users.
You will currently be placed in Gideå Home Care, and we also collaborate with nearby areas.
We offer you a meaningful job where you have the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge in palliative care, dementia, rehabilitative approaches in daily life, and transferring techniques.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who are caregivers or have other education or experience deemed sufficient by the employer. We appreciate if you have further training in elderly care and/or dementia or a focus on psychiatry. Experience working in care and support is an advantage.
It is important that you enjoy and feel comfortable working with people, and that you are flexible and open to new ideas and methods.
For this position, sufficient knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required to effectively communicate with users, perform care documentation, and receive medication delegation.
A valid driver’s license, category B, and access to a personal vehicle are required.
