We are now seeking a nursing assistant for respite care/short-term care in Malmö city. Working in the resource group means you will be available for work at our three short-term facilities Mathildenborg, Söderkulla, KRA, as well as our respite care service.
Respite care involves relieving family members by allowing users to stay in respite care for 1 or 2 weeks and then spend 3 or 4 weeks at home. In the short-term unit, individuals requiring temporary care or rehabilitation after illness or injury stay. Both of these services have high demands for flexibility as users change daily. You will work across all operations within the unit. Working hours are evenings and shared weekends.
**Job Responsibilities**
As a nursing assistant in the resource group, you will work based on a rehabilitative approach. Your duties will include personal care, cooking, cleaning, laundry, social interaction, and medical interventions performed under the delegation of a registered nurse.
Your duties also include documenting events related to residents in accordance with the Social Services Act and the Health and Medical Services Act. You will also play an active role in planning, team efforts, and quality work. You should be flexible and capable of re-prioritizing while managing rapid changes.

**Qualifications**
- Trained nursing assistant with approved qualifications
- At least two years of experience in care work
- Proficient in computer skills
- Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
Experience in short-term/respite care is an advantage. Previous work in dementia care and/or psychiatric care is also beneficial.
