**About the Position**
In the role of nursing assistant at Marka Home Care, you will contribute to ensuring our customers receive good care and support. Marka Home Care strives to achieve high quality in our operations for those we serve. We achieve this by working in teams to create a shared vision of how to address and plan for the needs of our customers.
Your tasks will include providing personal care and services such as cleaning, laundry, shopping, and companionship. Additionally, you will be expected to perform medical interventions on the delegation of nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. Besides practical tasks, you will be responsible for documenting and maintaining good communication with customers, relatives, and other professionals involved in the care and support we provide. As a nursing assistant with us, you will work both in groups and independently to plan, execute, and evaluate interventions based on the customer's needs.

**Examples of Duties:**
- Provide personal care and services based on customers' needs
- Perform medical interventions under the delegation of nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists

**About the Workplace**
Marka Home Care currently employs approximately 27 permanent staff members, and the operation is divided into three geographical teams. We operate from Landbotorpsallén and primarily work in the areas of Brickebacken, Brickeberg, and the countryside around Norra bro/Gällersta. You will be welcomed by a friendly group of colleagues who support each other in daily work, in the development of the operation, and who have a strong team spirit.
The area of care and support is part of the Social Administration. Our operation includes care and support, preventative activities, authority exercises in the field, as well as housing placements and housing adaptations. Within the area of care and support, we work to support and help individuals who need care, support, or assistance in their daily lives.

**Qualifications**
As a nursing assistant with us, you are a confident and stable individual. You have the ability to meet customers professionally by being calm, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions. You collaborate well with others and relate to them in a responsive and flexible manner. Furthermore, you have a positive view of people, showing great respect for each individual's needs. You also adapt easily to changing circumstances and see opportunities in changes. You are proficient in the Swedish language, enabling you to communicate with customers and staff, as well as document as required by the operation. Good computer skills are also required for documentation.
We place a strong emphasis on personal suitability.
**Requirements:**
- Proof of protected professional title or eligibility under transitional regulations (permanently employed nursing assistant as of July 1, 2023)
- B driving license
- Ability to ride a bicycle
**Meritorious:**
- Experience working in the field of care and support
- Experience using Lifecare or equivalent operational systems
**Scope and Start Date**

Working Schedule: Scheduled days, evenings, and every other weekend
**Additional Information**
As of July 1, 2023, the title of nursing assistant is a protected professional title. This means you will need to obtain proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare to be employed as a nursing assistant. While waiting for your proof, it is possible to be employed as a care aide. If you held a permanent position as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023, you may continue to use that title.
