The Social Services Department is responsible for interventions, support, and service to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS), and the Health and Medical Services Act, and must implement interventions regulated by these laws. All operations are characterized by putting the individual at the center to meet their needs. The assignment involves a strong customer focus and service spirit. We are now seeking new colleagues who will be part of our close-knit team. Our home care unit is divided into three work groups, with two based in Borensberg and one in Tjällmo. In our unit, collaboration and caring for each other are paramount. The unit manager is largely present in the operations, working with a close and trust-based leadership. We have close cooperation between work groups and help each other across boundaries. We work towards good and stable basic staffing that offers room for skills development, documentation, and giving clients something extra. We have close collaboration with union representatives and work to strengthen wellness factors in the operation. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a nursing assistant in Motala Municipality, you will provide good care and support to our clients based on their individual needs and wishes. The work involves performing approved interventions in the client's home. Tasks may vary between service interventions like cleaning and laundry, personal care including hygiene, daily routines such as dressing and undressing, and accompanying clients to scheduled meetings or activities. You will work independently but in close collaboration with colleagues and as a team with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. We develop the operation together through our different competencies, and we want you to contribute to good results and the best possible daily life for our clients. You will also perform health care and rehabilitation interventions as prescribed by nurses and rehabilitation staff. The job includes administrative tasks such as documentation. Documentation and administrative work are done both on computer and mobile phone. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking a qualified nursing assistant, preferably with experience in elderly care. In our operation, work is performed according to our core values where individual needs are central. It is therefore important to us that our clients are involved in their care and that work is performed with good quality and respect for individual integrity and self-determination. You are stable and confident, handle stress constructively, and maintain a good mood under pressure and setbacks. You maintain a realistic perspective on situations and focus on the right things. You are accustomed to using computers as a work support and easily adapt to new digital tools. You have good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish, as the role involves documentation. Since we provide care and support in a large geographical area, a Class B driver's license is required.
