About this role
Ekbacka 4 is a short-term care facility located in central Borgholm that is now seeking an educated nurse assistant for day shift. At Ekbacka 4, we work person-centered with the individual's needs at the center, based on a rehabilitative approach. Short-term care refers to placement for brief or temporary needs and is decided by a care manager according to the Social Services Act. The short-term care facility offers different types of stays:
· Respite Care - When the family caregiver needs temporary relief.
· Alternating Care - To enable continued ordinary living, while simultaneously facilitating support for relatives and/or offering rehabilitation/activation/training for the care recipient.
· Post-Hospital Stay - For care recipients who are ready for discharge from the hospital but need a few additional days for recovery or are in need of rehabilitation. To efficiently enable municipal rehabilitation according to the Health and Medical Services Act and/or activation towards a specific goal.
· Waiting for Care and Nursing Home - Short-term care can be granted to care recipients who, despite comprehensive care, do not experience safety and security at home.
· Palliative Care - Can be granted when the palliative care recipient does not feel safe at home.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
At Ekbacka 4, you will help and support care recipients in their daily lives based on the care manager's order and perform the interventions approved according to the Social Services Act. You will work closely and in a multi-professional team with colleagues, home healthcare, municipal rehabilitation, care managers, and unit managers.

Having a good approach and attitude is a critical prerequisite. You must be able to receive and perform delegated healthcare tasks. Our guiding principles are safety, respect, and meaningfulness.
QUALIFICATIONS
To work with us, you must be at least 18 years old and have good Swedish language skills in both speech and writing. We are seeking candidates who are trained nurse assistants or care workers. Previous experience in elderly care is merit-worthy.
We are looking for someone with a professional approach and genuine interest in working with people. You should be comfortable working both independently and in a team, be curious, take initiative, and see contributing to a good work climate as a given. Good computer skills and experience with administrative tasks are required.
