About this role
We are looking for a trained nursing assistant who wants to work with us at Dalsjövägen 25. The Health and Elderly Administration in Borås City works towards the goal of ensuring that both younger and older residents in need of care, support, services, healthcare, and preventive health efforts, can have a good life every day. The administration consists of over 2,700 employees, of which about 90 are managers. Together, we perform meaningful work with a strong focus on those we serve. Dalsjövägen 25 is a care and support residence located in Dalsjöfors, 13 km east of Borås. There are 73 apartments spread over 4 floors, of which 4 departments are specialized for individuals with cognitive impairments. Those of us working at Dalsjövägen 25 are a wonderful team made up of nursing assistants, care aides, support staff, a manager, and coordinators. We have both men and women with different backgrounds working with us, which enriches our operations and broadens our expertise. Nursing Assistant for Dalsjövägen 25
Job Responsibilities
Working in a residence within the Health and Elderly Administration is truly making a difference. A job that is meaningful and enjoyable, where you make an impact every day! As a nursing assistant in the residence, you will perform tasks related to personal care and services such as meals, cleaning, laundry, and shopping. You will also carry out healthcare tasks by delegation, document in our journal systems, and develop implementation plans. The work is varied, and you will work both independently and together with colleagues, as well as cross-professionally with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists to provide person-centered care and support. The work requires strong commitment and active participation in developing and improving operations. Working hours will include weekdays, evenings, and weekends, including holidays.

Qualifications
You are a qualified nursing assistant with a degree from a Health and Care program or equivalent education. Since the title of nursing assistant is protected, you are required to present a professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare before employment. Our operational systems are essential for fulfilling our mission, so you need to have basic digital skills. To provide good and safe care and support, a good approach is crucial, as well as your interest in working with people. It is important that you are responsible and engaged. You also have the ability to empathize with others and are sensitive to individual needs. Furthermore, you possess good collaboration skills and can create and maintain good relationships with both clients and their relatives and colleagues. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period. For a potential job offer, an acceptable extract from the police records must be presented.
