Nursing Assistant for the Midwifery Clinic in Älmhult

At our women's clinic, we have approximately 280 employees. The clinic consists of an integrated maternity/delivery ward and a gynecological department. Several midwifery clinics with gynecological services, maternal healthcare, contraceptive counseling, and youth clinics are located throughout the county. The midwifery clinic in Älmhult is part of the family center, which includes open preschool, child healthcare, and social services. At the midwifery clinic, we receive pregnant patients and contraceptive patients. We also operate a youth clinic one day per week. In Region Kronoberg, 6,500 of us work daily for the best of Kronoberg residents. We are responsible for healthcare, public transport, regional development, and culture in the county. DUTIES The duties as a nursing assistant include typical reception and patient work. This also involves scheduling, supply ordering, fire safety responsibility, appointment booking, etc. You will be the hub of operations and should be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The clinic consists of three midwives and one nursing assistant. We have close collaboration with other midwifery clinics in the county and have regular meetings/training sessions with personnel from the women's clinic's outpatient services in the county. You will be expected to work at our other two midwifery clinics in Ljungby and Markaryd when needed. The position is 75 percent. QUALIFICATIONS You have a nursing assistant education and preferably previous experience working at a midwifery clinic and family center. You can handle stressful situations and are flexible, as the position may require service at other clinics. However, your primary location will be in Älmhult. Experience with youth clinics or familiarity with handling teenagers and their issues is merit-worthy. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
