About the Position As a nursing assistant with us at Axberg/Vivalla home care, you will have a coordinated responsibility for support, service, and care interventions for our clients. In your daily work, you will plan, implement, and follow up on the interventions. You will work in a team alongside colleagues with different competencies, where we always keep the individual needs and interests of the person in focus. Examples of Tasks: • Perform care tasks and, based on delegation, certain medication management • Carry out service tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, and shopping • Plan and develop work independently and together with the workgroup • Create and follow up on goals, routine descriptions, and action plans in collaboration with the client • Collaborate with relatives and others in the client’s network, such as nurses and occupational therapists • Regularly document in the organization’s documentation system and access existing documentation • Establish and follow up on implementation plans • Have knowledge of and adhere to the organization’s applicable laws, policies, and routines About the Workplace Axberg/Vivalla home care operates from facilities in Trädgårdarna, located on the outskirts of Vivalla, and from facilities in Kornellen in Bettorp. We walk, bike, or drive to our clients in our service area. We work in the districts of Lillån, Bettorp, Hovsta, Vivalla, Lundby, and Glanshammar. Many of our clients also reside in the countryside. The area of care and support is part of the Social Administration. The operations include care and support, preventive measures, regulatory activities in the field, as well as housing placement and housing adaptations. Within the area of care and support, we work to assist and help individuals who need care, support, or assistance in their daily lives. Qualifications As a nursing assistant with us, you are a calm and stable person. You have the ability to meet clients in a professional manner by being calm, attentive, and accommodating in your approach. Taking responsibility for your tasks is a given for you. You collaborate well with other people and relate to them in a responsive and smooth manner. Furthermore, you possess a positive view of humanity with great respect for each individual’s needs. You are also adaptable to changing circumstances and view changes as opportunities. You have a command of the Swedish language sufficient to communicate with clients and other staff, as well as to document as required by the organization. Since the work involves digital documentation in operational systems, good computer skills are necessary. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Requirements: • Evidence of a protected professional title, or you fall under the transitional rules (permanently employed nursing assistant as of July 1, 2023) • B driver's license, manual transmission • Ability to cycle Meritorious: • Experience working in care and support • Experience working in documentation and operational systems Extent and Start Date Employment Type: Permanent position Employment Rate: 100% Start Date: January 1, 2026, or as agreed Number of Positions: 2 Working Hours: Scheduled day, evening, and every other weekend Additional Information As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected professional title. This means you will need proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare to be employed as a nursing assistant. While waiting for your proof, it is possible to be hired as a care assistant. However, if you had a permanent position as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023, you may continue to use the title. Interviews may be conducted digitally.
