What Does the Nursing Assistant Position at Norlandia Elder Care Entail?
A Nursing Assistant at Norlandia is a Valuable Key Person, and We Are Seeking Someone Who Is Skilled in Their Professional Role and Enjoys Interacting with People in Various Situations. Together with the Nurse, Rehabilitation Team, and Manager, We Collaborate to Provide a Good Life Every Day.
We Are Looking for Someone with a Genuine Interest in Elderly Care, Where Your Primary Tasks Will Be to Provide Safe and Secure Personal Care and Support. You Will Support Residents in Their Daily Lives and Create Conditions for a Secure and Meaningful Everyday Experience. As a Nursing Assistant, You Are Responsible for Providing High-Quality Care and Support in Accordance with the Agreed-Upon Care Plan.
This Includes:
• Working as a Contact Person Based on Norlandia's "Your Day" Concept
• Personal Care and Support, Utilizing Residents' Own Resources
• Implementing Norlandia's "Tasty Meal" Concept to Enhance Meal Experiences
• Documentation in Compliance with Social Services Act; Maintaining Social Journals and Developing/Monitoring Care Plans
• Planning, Offering, and Conducting Daily Activities, Outdoor Experiences, Entertainment, Crafts, Cultural Activities, etc., Both Individual and Group-Based
• Performing Service Tasks Such as Apartment Cleaning, Laundry, Accompaniment, and Shopping
• Receiving and Performing Delegated Tasks, Such as Medication Administration
• Taking Responsibility in Representative Roles
• Actively Participating in Quality and Improvement Work

Requirements:
• Verified Nursing Assistant Qualification from National Health Authority
• Previous Care and Support Experience Preferred
• Strong Documentation Skills
• Fluent Swedish (Spoken and Written)
• Good Computer Skills
• Familiarity with Relevant National Quality Registers
