JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcome to Ålycke, a care and support facility in Ronneby Municipality.
We are looking for a care assistant who is attentive, committed, and responsible. It is important that you have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You have experience in dementia care and have actively worked with BPSD (Behavioral and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia) and low-arousal approaches. You can adapt your working methods based on the needs that arise in relation to the residents. You have the ability to create and maintain relationships with both residents, relatives, and colleagues. The work requires flexibility and collaboration beyond group boundaries.
As a care assistant with us, you will be an important part of the team. Teamwork is the foundation for creating a good everyday life for our residents. In your daily work, you will collaborate with and receive support from nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, team leaders, and other care assistants.
The care assistant's duties include, among other things, personal care, service provision, and social documentation. You will also have duties as a contact person.
Specialized training related to the elderly and/or individuals with dementia, as well as experience working with BPSD, is an asset.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a trained care assistant with experience in dementia care. You should have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Further education such as a specialized care assistant focused on the elderly, dementia, and BPSD is a merit.
We strive for full-time work as the norm but are also open to those wishing to work part-time.
To be considered for a position within the care and support administration of Ronneby Municipality, a certificate from the police record must be presented. The form for work in HVB (homeless care units) must be used. The normal processing time is approximately two weeks. Please ensure to order the certificate in good time. It is possible to order the certificate by mail or digitally to Kivra.
